Aspirus Health in Wausau, WI s is seeking a TECHNOLOGY EDUCATOR to join our Nursing Administration team!The Informatics Technology Educator-Specialist is responsible for the information technology curriculum architecture which includes Epic and other ancillary tools. The Informatics Technology Educator-Specialist is responsible for supporting all elements of the planning,
design, development, and implementation of training for their designated application(s). Detailed responsibilities include creating and maintaining course curriculum, developing real-life practice scenarios, exercises, and related supporting materials as well as building, testing and maintaining the training environment. The Informatics Technology Educator-Specialist is also responsible for educating, credentialing, mentoring, and supporting the Credentialed Trainers, as well as delivering education to end users and implementing procedures and tools to measure success of the training program. The Informatics Technology Educator-Specialist will have an advanced knowledge of system workflows. They will use their knowledge and skill to facilitate collaboration with organizational leaders, clinical informaticist, optimization coaches, application analysts and system clinical educators to ensure that the correct workflows are reflected in the system, and that end users understand and can make use of the of the application.
HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 Hours Biweekly, Day Only with Varied Start Times
