Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital & Clinics is seeking a Supervisor - Clinic Nursesto join our CLINIC OPS- PEACH ST. CLINIC team!

The Clinical Services Supervisor RN provides supervision, direction, administration and plans, organizes and directs aspects of clinic activities to ensure accomplishment of its objectives. Manages day-to-day operations. Complies with performance measures and/or activities to assure patient/customer satisfaction results. Plans, organizes and directs nursing service activities. Exercises supervision over assigned nursing and other clinical staff. The position requires the ability to make decisions consistent with clinic policies and the strict observance of confidentiality of patient information. Establishes work relationship with all term members that foster high employee morale and participation. Assures regulatory compliance and delivers key performance outcomes.

HOURS: Full Time, 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every two weeks

Experience/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum of Associates Degree in Nursing required.
  • Minimum three years of experience in clinic environment as member of direct patient care team strongly preferred.
  • Experience in primary care setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated past success with progressive responsibility and team supervision.
  • Possesses an active Wisconsin RN nursing license.
  • Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable BLS training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
  • Knowledge of organization policies and procedures as well as health care administration principles. Ability to apply policies and principles to solve everyday problems and deal with a variety of situations.
  • Ability to demonstrate and model professionalism at all times.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and applications, including strong knowledge of electronic medical record.
  • Possesses good written and verbal communication, ability to prioritize and coordinate work activities, ability to identify problems and recommend solutions and exercises initiative, problem solving and decision-making.
  • Skill in gathering, analyzing and interpreting information.
  • Ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and the public.
  • Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
