ASPIRUS ST. LUKE'S ADMINISTRATION BUILDING in Duluth, MN is seeking a QUALITY MANAGEMENT PARTNER to join our QUALITY MANAGEMENT team!

Salary Range: $34.19 - $49.57 Hourly
Schedule/Hours: DAY ONLY, 8 hours
Weekend Requirement: Generally, No Weekends
FTE: FULL TIME, 1.0 FTE


JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Management Partner will engage and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to improve the quality of care and patient experience through use of data analysis, fact-based decision making and project management methods. This position abstracts medical records and analyzes data for designated quality improvement measures, studies, databases and registries.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • Experience: At least two (2) years of recent relevant experience.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified Professional in Health Care Quality (CPHQ). Certification within three (3) years of hire into position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: N/A
  • Experience: Two (2) years clinical experience, data analysis experience, experience in health care quality management and/or project management.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: If Registered Nurse, must have a current license in Minnesota to practice as registered nurse.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Extensive knowledge of quality improvement, project management, DNV accreditation process, quality and safety performance measurement and data analysis, and computer skills with intermediate to expert Microsoft office excel, word, PowerPoint software and Visio.

  • READING - Advanced: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints.
  • WRITING - Intermediate: Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, or procedures.
  • SPEAKING - Intermediate: Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group situations or before groups of customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Intermediate Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw or interpret bar graphs to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • REASONING ABILITY - Intermediate Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
