Are you an experienced driver with a Class B CDL who wants a job that truly makes a difference? Aspirus Wausau Hospital is looking for a Mobile Mammo Driver / Tech Assistant to operate our Mobile Women's Services units. In this unique role, you are part professional driver and part healthcare hero-ensuring our specialized medical imaging equipment safely reaches the women who need it most.


Schedule & Commitment

  • Status: Part-Time (0.4 FTE | 32 hours per two-week pay period)
  • Hours: Two 8-hour day shifts per week, scheduled Monday through Friday (No weekends!)
  • Location: Based out of Wausau, WI

What You'll Do

You will act as the backbone of our mobile health route, seamlessly blending logistics with patient care support:

  • The Journey: Safely drive and transport our advanced mobile medical imaging vehicle along designated community routes.
  • The Setup: Maintain, prepare, and manage the equipment according to technical specifications.
  • The Patient Experience: Step inside the clinic to serve as a warm receptionist, room coordinator, and patient positioning aide.
  • The Environment: Keep operations smooth by restocking supplies, disinfecting clinic spaces, and ensuring a sterile, welcoming environment


What You Bring

  • Education & Experience: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Previous clinical medical exposure or familiarity with medical terminology is a plus, but not required!
  • Licensing: A valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a safe driving record.
  • Compliance: Ability to pass a standard DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening, with a strong commitment to DOT safety rules.
  • Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, or the willingness to obtain it within your first 90 days of hire.
  • Soft Skills: A reliable, flexible team-player mindset with excellent communication skills for interacting with clinical teams and patients alike
