Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a HRPC PROGRAM MANAGER to join our ADMINISTRATION team!The Human Research Protection & Compliance (HRPC) Program Manager reports to the Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Inc. (AWH) Chief Medical Officer (CMO), who is also the Institutional Official (IO) for the Institutional Review Board (IRB). The HRPC Program Manager requires vision, demonstrated leadership, and thorough understanding of federal, state, and local regulations, institutional policies and procedures, as well as ethical and professional standards pertaining to human research protection by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and research compliance/quality. The HRPC Program Manager oversees the overall planning, direction, and execution of the IRB, including the development, implementation and oversight of daily operations of an effective Human Research Protection & Compliance Program for Aspirus Wausau Hospital, its majority-owned subsidiaries and regional affiliates as well as those that have a Memorandum of Understanding with Aspirus to be their institution's IRB of record
The HRPC Program Manager has close contact with investigators, research staff, IRB Chairs, IRB members, government agencies and legal advisors to carry out the goals and objectives of a system-wide Human Research Protection & Compliance Program.
The position has oversight of the processes and systems related to the administration of the Institutional Review Board (IRB), along with Research Compliance & Quality.
HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks.
