Aspirus Health in WAUSAU, WI is seeking a FOUNDATION DATABASE SPECIALIST to join our ASPIRUS HEALTH FOUNDATION team!

The Foundation Database Specialist is responsible for the management of the Aspirus Health Foundation's donor database system and supports the day-to-day administrative duties relating to fund raising initiatives including annual campaigns, special events, major gift campaigns, and other fund development programs. The position is the primary resource for all donor database-related issues, develops, maintains, and prepares database standards and procedures, maintains biographical data, gift and pledge processing and acknowledgements, receipts and pledge reminders, donor/prospect research and tracking, mailings, and solicitations. The position provides administrative support for a variety of fund-raising programs and works with various staff and volunteers to successfully meet goals established by the health foundation organization.

HOURS: Part Time, 0.6 FTE, 48 hours every 2 weeks

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of database standards and procedures and bookkeeping practices normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma or associate degree.
• Two or more years' experience in an office environment involving interaction with the public and other professionals required.
• Prior experience with Microsoft Office Suite necessary with extensive use of Excel required.
• Previous work with volunteers preferred.
• Prior experience with donor database management, preferably Donor Perfect.
• Possesses good communication skills, the ability to prioritize, the ability to work independently and report to the Vice President, attention to detail and accuracy and timeliness in all work products.
• Possesses ability to multitask and effectively manage concurrent projects.
• Possesses familiarity with development and fundraising practices and procedures.
• Possesses ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with volunteers, donors, and staff.
• Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
