ASPIRUS ST. LUKE'S HOSPITAL in Duluth, MN is seeking a CLINICAL COORDINATOR-IP REHAB SERVICES to join our OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY team!

Salary Range: $37.48 - $54.35 Hourly
Schedule/Hours: DAY ONLY, 8 hours
Weekend Requirement: Occasional Weekend
FTE: PART TIME, 0.2 FTE or 16 Hours Biweekly


Coordinates Physical Rehab Services on Rehab Unit (and other areas as requested), assists with management of peer review and Quality Improvement programs, monitors policies/procedures to ensure compliance, provides mentorship and coordinator for Rehab Unit staff, educational and clinical skills growth and development and provides patient care consisting of evaluation and treatment of patients, documentation of care and supervision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor's of Science (BS) or Masters Degree in PT or OT. Masters Degree if Speech Therapist.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Extensive knowledge in the field of rehabilitation, including patient assessment, treatment planning and documentation guidelines. Knowledge of and commitment to the team approach to rehabilitation; knowledge of the code of ethics for Rehab Care and St. Luke's, knowledge of PT, OT and Speech Practice Acts; knowledge of safety practices and procedures.

  • READING - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • WRITING - Intermediate: Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, or procedures.
  • SPEAKING - Intermediate: Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group situations or before groups of customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Basic Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • REASONING ABILITY - Intermediate Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • AGE SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES - Skilled at assessment and knowledgeable of growth and development. Provides appropriate care respective to the ages of the patients served per clinical environment.

In an average day the employee is required to: sit for one (1) to two (2) hours; stand for three (3) to four (4) hours and walk for three(3) to four (4) hours. While performing the job, the employee is also occasionally required to bend/stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs,push/pull, balance, reach above shoulder level, reach below waist level, crawl and lift unwieldy items. Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
